WORLD TOUR: VIETNAM Flight Information: February 19

World Tour, where you can travel across the world without leaving Aizu, brings you to VIETNAM! Vietnam, the land of delicious pho (noodles), choice coffees, and tropical forests! Our tour guide for this trip is Xuan Hoc Nguyen. Through games and activities, our tour conductor will introduce Vietnamese New Year’s traditions, tell us about Vietnamese university student life, and give us a tour of Hanoi City!

NIHONGO DE OSHABERI: JAPANESE FOR LIFE IN JAPAN
Not sure what to say in certain situations you encounter in your daily life? Feel like you don’t have enough practice using the Japense you’ve learned? Just interested in improving Japanese and chatting with some Japanese folks? Come to the winter edition of Nihongo De Oshaberi! This short term course we will run 5 times from February 22 to March 21.
Date and Time: Every Wednesday Night, February 22 to March 21, 6:30PM to 8:00PM
Cost: *This course is free of charge
Location: Aizu Keiko-dō
Contents: Each time, the teachers will prepare materials on a specific theme, and the group will converse about that theme. We are planning to do a 1 on 1 style to provide everyone with more opportunities to speak.
*This course is more geared toward exchange and interaction than the Japanese Conversation Class run in the Spring and Fall, so it is for those with a basic knowledge of Japanese.

GOAL-ORIENTED BUSINESS JAPANESE COURSE
This Japanese course is designed to meet goals chosen by the students to introduce them to or to help them improve upon their Business Japanese. Students will choose their goals for the class and the instructor will work with students to provide the necessary Japanese business language and etiquette necessary to accomplish those goals.
Date and Time: Weekday Course: February 16 to March 15, Every Thursday Afternoon, 2PM to 4PM
Weekend Course: February 18 to March 17, Every Saturday Afternoon, 2PM to 4PM
Location: Aizu Wakamatsu International Association
Fee: Free of charge
Contents: This course is to help students better understand Japanese culture and work etiquette while improving their practical Japanese skills. Participants are allowed to join both the weekday course and the weekend course if they are interested. If you are interested in joining, please contact the AWIA.

UPDATE ABOUT PARKING AT THE AWIA
When you come to the AWIA by car, we will give you a ticket for free parking. The tickets are valid at the Yamasho Parking Lot (山正パーキング, free for two hours) and the Shinmei Park 24 (神明パーク24, formally the Machi-tsukuri Parking Lot, free for 1 hour). We will hand you the ticket when you come, so please bring your parking ticket with you to the AWIA.
