There is an Employment Insurance system established.
A worker employed in Japan, regardless of his/her nationality will
be insured, and receive an insurance card through his employer.
When a worker becomes unemployed he can receive unemployment benefits
if he satisfies the following requirements:
1. He has been covered by the employment insurance
system is more than 6 months in total, within a year before he resigns
from employment. |
